PAST INDEFINITE / SIMPLE PAST, PRETERITE (“হয়েছিল” বোঝাবে)

Subject+Past Form of Verb + Others   

1.রাম ভাত খেয়েছিল।( 'খেয়েছিল' টা দেখ হয়েছিল বোঝাচ্ছে ) 

Ans: Ram ate rice. 

(i)Assertive--

Subject+Past Form of Verb + Others .. 

Example:

1.I went to school . 

2.Ram liked cricket        

                                         

 ( i)   Subject + modal +Verb + Others                                                                     

  Example:  

1.They might come .

2.Ram could read it                  

(ii)Interrogative--

Did+Subject+Verb+Others +?

Example: 

1.Did I go to school  ?

2 . Did Ram like cricket ? 

                                                                        

(ii)Interrogative--

 Modal + Subject+ Verb + Others +?          

                                                                Example: 

1.Might they come ?. 

2.Could Ram read it?

(iii) Negative--

 Subject +Did not+Verb + Others .                              

Example: 

1.I did not go to school.

2. Ram did not like cricket                                          

 (iii) Negative- 

Subject +modal-+ not+Verb + Others .  

                                                      

Example: 

1. They might not come .
